Purses with a Purpose
The Girl Scouts-Dakota Horizons Council will be holding their premiere “Purses with a Purpose” ladies night out. Mark your calendars for March 25th from 5:30-8:30pm at the Journey Museum. The event will include a silent purse auction including new designer, designer-inspired and vintage bags, fun little girl purses and unique specialty purses which have been donated by local area businesses.
Funds raised during the event are used to help finance “STEM”, a program that emphasizes Science, Technology, engineering and Math, outreach programs on Indian Reservations, camps, diversity recruitment, financial assistance for Girls who cannot afford to participate in Girl Scouts, programs that focus on financial responsibilities and leadership building opportunities. This is an adult event. Beverages and appetizers will be served and tickets are $10.
